West Henrietta, NY—Lewis Tree Service announced that Dennis L. Brown, Jr. has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer effective October 2015. Mr. Brown is a member of the company’s senior leadership team and reports directly to President/CEO Thomas R. Rogers.
“Over the past 25 years, Dennis’ leadership has been instrumental in helping Lewis Tree manage a period of significant growth while maintaining operational excellence and heightened customer satisfaction,” stated Rogers. “He has been a vital contributor to our excellent safety record and ongoing commitment to a job done right.”
Dennis is a 25 year veteran of the utility line clearance industry and has been employed with Lewis Tree Service since 1991. He began as a craft worker and has since held every operational management position. Dennis served as a Regional Vice President from 2009–2013 and held the position of Senior Vice President for the past two years. He currently serves as an active member of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and a strong supporter of the Utility Arborist Association (UAA).
Lewis Tree Service announced that Laura Ribas has been appointed as the Director of Marketing also reporting to President/CEO Rogers. She will lead the company’s marketing, business development and customer experience initiatives.
“Laura is a talented executive who brings a wealth of experience in business and marketing strategy,” Rogers continued. “I am confident that her knowledge and capabilities will help drive Lewis Tree’s strategic vision of growth and profitability.”
Prior to joining Lewis, Ribas was the Vice President of Marketing at Klein Steel Service in Rochester, NY and spent over a decade as a Senior Consulting Associate at The Hartman Group, an Evergreen, CO-based management consulting firm. Ribas holds a BA degree from Syracuse University and an MBA from the University of Rochester’s Simon School of Business.
